Terms of service

1. What Sulit Suites is

Sulit Suites provides scheduling software and a personal mini-site to independent freelancers. We are not a party to any booking. The freelancer contracts directly with their client and is solely responsible for the services they offer, their prices, their tax position and their conduct.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your business details and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One account represents one business.

3. Acceptable use

Use of the product is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches it, that puts clients at risk, or where we are required to act by law.

4. Bookings, deposits and payments

Deposits and payments collected through a freelancer's mini-site belong to that freelancer, subject to any platform fee disclosed in the dashboard. Online card payments are processed by Stripe on the freelancer's own connected account, under Stripe's terms; Sulit Suites never holds client funds and never stores card details. Manual arrangements — cash, bank transfer or paying separately — are between the freelancer and their client, and are not verified by us. Refunds, cancellations and no-show charges follow the policy that the freelancer publishes on their own mini-site.

5. Plan fees

Free costs A$0 per month. Solo costs A$19 per month or A$190 per year. Pro costs A$49 per month or A$490 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, are charged in advance, and can be cancelled at any time from the dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and part-periods are not refunded unless the law requires it.

6. Transaction fee

On the Free plan, Sulit Suites charges a 0.25% platform fee on each successful online client payment where the amount is more than A$50. A payment of exactly A$50 or less carries no fee. Solo and Pro pay no transaction fee. There is no fee on failed, cancelled, cash, bank-transfer or other off-platform payments. If a payment is refunded in full, the platform fee is refunded in full; a partial refund reduces the platform fee proportionally. Stripe's own processing fees are separate and are charged by Stripe.

7. Your responsibilities to your clients

The freelancer is the business their client is dealing with. You are responsible for describing your services accurately, for honouring confirmed bookings, for your own refund and cancellation policy, for the tax treatment of your income, and for handling your clients' personal details lawfully. We provide the software that records all of this.

8. Availability of the service

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance, payment-processor incidents and other third-party outages may interrupt bookings or payments. We are a private beta and features may change.

9. Suspension

We may unpublish a mini-site or suspend an account for a breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for a payment-processor or legal requirement, or where clients are at risk. A reason is recorded and shown to the account holder, who can reply to have a second reviewer look at it.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may end the agreement for a serious or repeated breach, or where continuing would be unlawful. Your booking records remain available for export for a reasonable period.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We will give notice in the dashboard before material changes take effect.
